ISO 10993-19: Physico-chemical, morphological and topographical characterization of materials
Zymetrix conducts PMT testing (physico-chemical, morphological, topographical) in compliance with ISO 10993-19. The scope of 10993-19 is broad, and the testing required is dependent on the type of device and materials that it is comprised of. Some of the modalities that we have available include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Atomic force microscopy
- Confocal laser scanning microscopy
- Fourier transform infra red spectroscopy (FTIR)
- Scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy
- Micro Computed Tomography (microCT)
A portion of 10993-19 is directed at establishing material equivalence. Zymetrix has specific expertise in this area as it pertains to devices that contain biological tissues.
It is recommended that you contact us to discuss your particular device and testing requirements.
